Frequently Asked Questions

After our launching of the service there are a lot of valid questions and concerns people have been asking which we've assembled here:

Which Platforms are you on?

Nintendo Switch™ and Steam®. We plan to launch on additional platforms going forward.

Is InkyPen cross-platform?

Yes! Your InkyPen account and subscription may be used on all platforms where InkyPen is available.

How does account linking work?

When you subscribe through Steam, your InkyPen and Steam account will be automatically linked and subscription management is handled through Steam. Your Steam Account and your InkyPen account is linked to avoid subscribing twice through Steam, as well as enabling us to detect if you’re not signed in with the correct InkyPen account. When your subscription to InkyPen expires, your Steam Account and InkyPen account is un-linked.

Please note that only one InkyPen account can be linked to your Steam account. If you already have an InkyPen account with an active subscription, all you have to do is sign in. Account linking is only relevant when setting up a subscription through Steam.

How do I manage my subscription?

Go to the platform where you started your subscription and open InkyPen. If you’re not logged in already, do so and navigate to your Account Page. If your subscription is set up through Steam, you may manage it directly from your Steam Account Details page.

Do you restrict content by territory?

We generally don't in most cases and always ask publishers if they can give us global rights. In cases where we only have rights for a particular region for desirable content we do geo-restrict.

Any free stuff?

Yes! We do have free content available that you can read on the Nintendo Switch™. You can try out the app without even signing in. We do not right now have a free month trial of all content however. The service is in its infancy and part of our philosophy is ensuring artists and publishers get paid appropriately for their content. We do aim to offer more free content and a trial period down the line.

Do you have Manga?

Yes! We have quite the collection. Check our catalogue and select 'manga' as type to see full catalogue.

None of these answer my questions. What now?

Sorry about that, you can contact us using the form below.
